About
Jay has a PhD in Science Education from the University of Michigan, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University, and a B. S. in Physics from the University of Maryland (College Park). Jay's research focuses on teacher learning and professional development in the context of science education reform, and the use of new technologies by pre-service and new teachers. He taught physics and engineering at the high school level for eleven years.
